SC ENGLOBER SRL was founded in 2005 as a medical supplies trader. Due to a continuous growth, the company increased its product range, now offering a complete range of laboratory supplies, reagents and medical devices at competitive prices and with a high quality standard.
In January 2010 we were contacted by Englober who were looking for a web design and development company to redesign their existing website to accommodate an online catalog of the products they're selling as well as information about the company.
As key requirements they mentioned:
Having the specifications set we've started development and two months later their new website was up and running. The solution is based on the flexible open source Content Management System (CMS) Joomla, with Virtuemart for the catalog section of the site.
The result was a flexible and reliable website that works great for our customer. Thanks to Joomla's flexibility we can also welcome changes and feature additions in the future with minimum time and money investment. In fact, because the entire application is based on open source software and can run on industry standard servers (Linux+PHP+MySQL) the cost of development and hosting was kept to a minimum.
